Do I need an account?

No. İhya never asks for an account; your data stays on your phone.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The Qur'an, translation, prayer time calculation and tracking work offline. The internet is needed only when you ask for it: downloading recitations, shared khatms and groups.

How do I back up my data?

Settings → Backup and data. On iPhone you can turn on automatic iCloud backup; on both platforms you can save a backup file and restore it on a new phone.

Prayer notifications arrive late or not at all (Android)

Some phones put background apps to sleep. In the app's settings, choose "Unrestricted" under Battery. İhya shows this itself with a Battery restriction notice when it is needed.

How do I join a shared khatm or a group?

Tap the link you were sent on your phone; if İhya is installed it opens. If it doesn't, copy the link and paste it into Join with a link (khatm) or Groups → Join with invite (group).

How do I delete all my data?

Settings → Backup and data → Delete everything. Deleting the app also removes all of its data from the phone.
